 I sold my DRZ a while back so i had a little extra cash, i knew i wanted something reliable and powerful for this bike so i ended up snagging this rebuilt 92 dyna motor.

 Here is the Evo shoe horned into the shovel frame. After read a bunch about doing this online i was assured it would fit with very little modifications....... not true at all. i had to do quite a bit of cutting, heating, bending, smashing to squeeze this motor in the frame. but its in now and bolted down.

Whipped up this little fender support bracket for the iron head fender that  riding on back.

I have had this shovel head roller kicking around for a bit so I decided i wanted to put it to use. here it is with some random parts tossed on to kinda start getting a vision.

After some closer inspection i found some pretty awesome cracks in the frame. Its no wonder why this thing had a gnarly shimmy.

I picked up these alloy wheels from my friend sean at grim cycle salvage. Dave was over the other night and was bored so i had him hack off the back of the frame and tack on this tail section.

They just released the Names for this years builders series and I am proud to be on the list. There are some amazing guys building bikes this year and I am proud to say that quite a few are people I call my friends. It makes it so much more fun when you are competing against guys that you are friends with.  For those of you that aren't familiar with the Born Free Builders Series they invite a select number of builders each year to build bikes for the show and then people vote on what bike they like best. Here is a photo of the triumph speedmaster I built for last years show.
